May is Local History Month. To celebrate Pembrokeshire's long and exciting history, Scolton Manor Park is hosting the second annual Pembrokeshire History Day at Scolton. Our theme this year is “Their Past, Our Future” and as it is VE Day 80 many of the exhibitors will be featuring WWII displays.

There will be displays and exhibitions from local community groups, museums and heritage crafters in the Green Barn and outside the Steam Team Workshop, as well as a headliner talk by a local historian: “Webfooters Windows”.

At the Manor House visitors will be able enjoy our VE Day 80 exhibitions “Spies, Codebreakers & POWs” with activities inside and outside the house.

The popular Sand Pit Dig will be on the front lawn for visitors to try some archaeology with our handling collection.

In the Walled Garden Potting Shed our Assistant Head Gardener will be running the Dig for Victory: Grow your own runner beans activity.

Normal parking charges and entry to the Manor House will apply and there is a £3 charge per person for the Dig for Victory activity, but entry to the Green Barn is free.
