Scolton Manor Park needs YOU!
We believe that being an effective champion of local heritage and conservation means involving the local community as well. Our exciting range of volunteer groups offer a number of ways to participate in Scolton life!
The Green Team:
Meeting twice per week, volunteers help the Head Gardener with horticultural activities surrounding the development of the Walled Garden and estate. To express your interest or discuss volunteering opporunities, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Work with the PBKA to promote beekeeping in Pembrokeshire and protect local honeybee populations. If you'd like to get involved and work with the PBKA, please do get in touch.
Scolton is always looking for collaborations that will contribute meaningfully to the thriving of Scolton, the local environment & local communities.
We work closely with Norman Industries, who have been involved at Scolton since 2014 as part ofPembrokeshire County Council’s Supported Employment Scheme, to offer employment and training to people with a disability or work-limiting condition. Norman Industries teams are now an integral part of Scolton life, from the timber mill to Edie’s Tea Room.
Scolton is also proud to provide the headquarters of the Pembrokeshire Beekeepers’ Association, who run the Pembrokeshire Beekeeping Centre and Honey Kitchen here in one of the Stables buildings.
If you think there is scope for a mutually beneficial relationship between your organization and Scolton Manor Park, and one that would benefit the wider Pembrokeshire community as well, we’d love to hear from you!
