Scolton isn’t called the green heart of Pembrokeshire for nothing. Our grounds and woodlands have been carefully landscaped to encourage and support local flora and fauna, and include ponds and wetlands, meadows and hedge-banks, and both developing and mature woodland areas. Not only do our three ponds provide a wonderful habit for a huge range of species: they also serve as a biological treatment system for the Welcome Centre’s waste water, recycling it for recirculation and keeping our ecological footprint to a minimum!
